what i love

here is what i love today:

• sunshine (as per usual)
• flowers on my christmas cactus
• cherries (expensive almost perfect winter cherries)
• understanding my physiology class (for once!!  finally!  how did it even happen?  what? new professor - it all suddenly makes so much sense...the professor part, that is)
• darjeeling (which, apparantly, is "afternoon" tea)
• brie and honey on toasted bagels (not even kidding - try it - it will change your life.  just like the shins)
• a new mix for an upcoming drive

my christmas cactus has it's first flower! it's growing up! it hasn't even been transplanted for a year, gosh i'm just so proud...!

i think there might even be another flower in a few weeks! there's a little red dot on top of one of the other leaves..uh.. leaves? do cactuses have leaves?
