and then i couldn't wait for it to be gone. because march is supposed to be spring. ok, maybe not it wyoming, but no matter how long i have lived here, my biological clock, or my circadian rhythm, or something, just tells me it should be spring.
is that what they call spring fever? i've never really understood all those 'fevers.'
spring fever = can't wait til spring?
cabin fever = can't wait to get away from the cabin?
scarlet fever = red rash and red tongue?
yeesh, so confusing.
well, it was really tricky, not to mention prickly, taking the lights down.
and then it looked like this - after i had swept up a whole tree's worth of crispy needles. another tree's worth of needles ended up in the hallway. another ended up on the stairs.
don't ask how one tree had at least three times the normal amount of needles...
and now this is what that little corner looks like. it only took me 3 weeks to sweep and mop and wax the floors, just so i could rearrange the furniture.
(just imagine the last picture, but with a little crate/bookshelf thing in the middle. i'm in the process of "cleaning", where instead of getting in the right "clean" place, everything just seems to move around, until you can't even tell that i was cleaning to begin with...which means that it will finally be how i want it in about, oh, three and a half months.)
