BABY'S SIZE a lettuce! (i think that is the same size as a kale...) the ranges are the same. this baby might be 1.5-2.5 pounds forever. my ultrasound this week said that baby is in the 55th percentile for weight. which i believe is somewhere between 1.5-2.5 pounds...
HOW I'M FEELING excited and nervous that this is the last week of the second trimester.
WHAT I'M EATING same old, same old. i've started getting a salad every night at work. they started sounding delicious and never stopped. so i'm balancing out the cereal. this baby might be born in rainbow colors with all the fruit loops that have been consumed...
HOW I'M CHANGING super fun tweaky pelvis comes and goes, but mostly comes these days. i started getting serious about prenatal yoga, hoping that it would help keep me aligned. and i realized that the only prenatal class that i can go to that i've found is the exact time of our birthing class. dang it.
MOVEMENT i could get used to this. sometimes it feels like baby pushes really hard against my belly, and if i feel, i can feel the lumpies of its body.
SLEEP still in denial about this. still the waking up to pee. still the waking up to roll over. still the waking up for sore hips. still the waking up in a little panic because i've been sleeping on my back, which they say is a no no.
THINGS THIS WEEK ultrasound! and ob appointment, where i talked to our ob about how she feels that the rest of the doctors in her group will support us and our hippy birth. it was very positive. so we will not be switching after all. yay!
LOOKING FORWARD TO in about 7 years, i'm excited to get some good sleep again. i am such a sleeper that even waking up once in the night for anything makes it a bad night's sleep. i fear those days are gone.
FUN FACT baby is showing brain activity, and the brain is becoming more and more complex.
