I do other things besides touring castles, I really do. I just happened to see a few around the same time...
One of my first impressions of England's castles was that they are mostly ruins; wistful, lonely bits of stone emanating waves of nostalgia. However, Windsor Castle just happened to be another one of those fairytale castles (although I hear the very best ones are in Wales...I might have to go check...).
I went to Windsor with a few people I had met not too long before we went, and it was...interesting, to say the least...!
