8 year-old's treasures

i was cleaning the other day, and i found this little star box, and it was really tarnished, so i thought i would clean it off.  and i found all this random stuff inside.  i think i probably collected it all when i was like 8.  except for the quarter stuck in the beer cap, but i figured that would go with all the rest...
it's fascinating what little kids find to treasure...
except for the key, they were all presents - funny that i can remember them all.  except one, that is.

maddy gave me athe 4 rocks - she said for good luck.
an old friend gave me the piece of stick (ok that wasn't from 8 - that was from high school).  if you break this certain kind of twig (i don't remember which type of tree...) at the knots, there is a star in the middle and i love stars.
the pearls (which i believe are fake, although she told me they were real and so be really careful with them) were from a babysitter.  one i hated, actually.  she used to lock me out of the house (well, both my sissy and i) and i would just leave and go to alicia's house around the corner, and then i would get in trouble from my mommy for leaving the house without asking.
i'm not sure who the ring was from.  possibly alicia.
and the quarter stuck in the beer cap reminds me of another someone i used to know.
