remember the time i talked about my new adventure? well, that workout didn't work, because my neighbors are jerks. or maybe i am because i bounce around in my second floor apartment.
anyways. i decided to not do weight goals for now, because muscle and fat have battles, and while i am starting, i don't want to be discouraged if i don't lose 17 pounds by tomorrow (and i will be).
and when i say "i am starting", yes, it means i am starting over, because i got discouraged when i didn't lose 17 pounds in one day (did you see how i broke one of the cardinal rules of english writing? hint: look at the numbers. i'm such a rebel....).
so my newest goals are:
- work up to 3 miles of running
- do bikram yoga 3 days a week (a little pricey, but if i don't go out to eat, should be FINE!!!)
- use my gear at least once or twice a week (gear = suspension training strappies!)
- walk/hike on days i don't run
- swim or bike occasionally for some cardio that doesn't kill my joints
- take a rest day every week so muscles can CALM DOWN!
- weigh yourself in one month (ish)
i think this one is going to work better, since it's less "physical results" oriented.
