i have been moving so much lately. as in, pack some stuff, get in my car, and drive very long distances, sort of mini moving. it's kind of fun, but it would be a lot more so if i hadn't had to study for a month, or keep applying for jobs, or worry about money in between all of the mini moves.
i've been back and forth between wyoming and texas and albuquerque. it's a lot of driving. and so many flat flat straight roads.
you'd think with all the driving around, i would learn how to pack. but no. i leave some stuff at one place, and take some other stuff. and then leave that at the next place but take some more from there. it's getting ridiculous.
also, one's getting really irritated with all the driving. instead of her usual 45 minutes of cries, now it's, oh, five hours. maybe more.
this last drive i finally stopped to buy some liquid benadryl because i was told that if you put it on their paws they will lick it off because they can't stand to have dirty paws. well, oni doesn't really have that problem. she would lick just enough to get all grossed out, and then druggy and weird, but not really sleep so she'd still cry. the benadryl haze lasted for 2 days. and so did the crunchy pink cherry flavored paws.
