32 weeks

12. may

BABY'S SIZE     a squash (i feel like my app is running out of ideas, and so is being more and more vague).  15 to 16.5 inches and 2.5 to 4 ish pounds.  the most recent ultrasound said our little monster is in the 65th percentile, i think.

HOW I'M FEELING     tired and squished.  it's so hard to balance getting things done (cleaning, laundry, baby stuff) and napping.  napping usually wins.

WHAT I'M EATING     no recent cravings that i can think of.  who knows, maybe i'm so far gone that everything is a craving, and i just haven't realized it yet.

HOW I'M CHANGING     you guys, this baby moving up towards my ribs thing is no joke.  bras are the worst, and they dig into skin/baby/ribs/i'm not sure what, but something.  but they're kind of a necessity for, uh, being in public and at work, and important things like that.  i'm still waiting for the perfect, comfiest one to land on my doorstep...

MOVEMENT     just wiggling away.  baby's doing some sweet yoga moves in there, i think.  so much stretching and pushing.

SLEEP     waahhhhh.  i don't wanna talk about it.

THINGS THIS WEEK     i finally asked why i was getting so many ultrasounds (i honestly thought it was because they couldn't get all the baby measurements from the anatomy scan from forever ago).  the tech, who obviously had no idea, and who i very much dislike, and who gave me horrible, terrifying, blurry ultrasound photos, said, "oh, you're definitely high risk because of your bmi."  wait, what?  my doctor had never mentioned anything about this, none of the providers who talked to me about all the ultrasounds mentioned anything about this, nothing.  i managed not to cry - which is a serious feat - and asked the provider who came in later.  she honestly wasn't sure.  so probably no more ultrasounds for me.
we went to an isotopes game with a couple from our birth class.  it was fun until it started getting freezing (i'm talking like, 65 degrees or something!) and super windy.  so we left a little early.

LOOKING FORWARD TO     i'm planning on starting a squat challenge.  gettin ready to do some serious baby birthing!

FUN FACT     baby is usually head down by now (ultrasound confirms this - hopefully it will stay that way), and starting to feel cramped.  you and i both, baby.

did you notice the fabulous floor?  arley pulled all the carpet up while i was gone!
