Unemployment and Daunting Enchiladas

I decided to get a job. I have class 12 hours a week. So I have a lot of free time. And you can only stay at the gym for so long. So I went to the student employment centre and I redid my resume and I just knew I was going to find the perfect job in some random little bookshop in the lanes. I printed off 20 copies of my resume because I figured I would At Least give out 15 and I wanted to be sure I didn't run out (ok, a tiny bit optimistic, I'll admit).

How many did I come home with? About 72. No, I did not get rid of any. Yes, they multiplied. They also grew denser and denser and heavier and heavier as the afternoon passed. There are no available jobs in the entire city of Brighton. I think the unemployment rate is about .00002%.

So to make myself forget about my unsuccessful day, I attempted to make the daunting...enchilada...! SUCCESS!!! I am so proud of myself! The first time that a first attempt has come out edible (you should have seen my lasagna! It was horrible! I don't know what I did, but not even the squirrels would have eaten it)!!! Woo! Ok, it does look a little bit radioactive, but that's just because there's so much delicious English cheese on it! Sainsbury's Red Leicester: a savoury nutty cheese from Taw Valley, to be exact...!
At the end of the day, all is well. I have no job. But I Do know how to cook something new! And I have decided that instead of looking for a job, I will try harder to find some volunteer work to get involved in (which may or may not be just as hard, or harder, as finding a job in this crazy city!).
