i'm a big wussy and i don't do too many crazy things?

haha i don't know.

i was talking to a friend the other day, who is my age, who is very, extremely certain that he won't live to be 30.  i told him that was sad, and he said "you can't live like i do, drink like i do (he drinks. a lot.), drive like i do (he drives. fast.), go down the mountain like i do (he snowboards.  recklessly.), and expect to live very long."

i guess i just live... a little slower.  a little less intense.  a little more relaxed.  (in the living sense, not in the stress-free sense...)


i really hate this dumb quiz.  but i feel like i never finish anything, lately:  photo a day goal, pre-med, school....(still working on that one, don't worry), the list goes on.  so i feel like i have to.  finish it.  this quiz.  stupid quiz. 

holiday linkies. but not really.

holidays, i would just like to say:  get over yourself.  you're fun, i'll give you that.  but 2 and a half months of christmas, which is the hardest word in the english vocabulary to type?  no thanks.  1 and a half weeks would be much more preferable.  i have to get ready for my birthday, you know...

awesome video, amazing song!  chancey played this album on the way to work once, and it was love at first listen.  even though i may or may not have been sleeping at the time...  (watch him when he laughs at the beginning.  i die a little everytime.  so.  fun.ny.

yellow brick road. oh, and a pumkin

a loooong, looooooooooong time ago, before the snow came, there were leaves.  and they were pretty.  and i took their photo. 
also, this was around halloween.  and by around, i mean probably like october 3rd, because people are crazy with their decorations around here.  so i also took a little photo of the pumkin that was outside my building until it sunk in on itself and rotted away.

that's my car that it's leading to!!

don't ask, because i don't even know.  i think they're whiskers, but who can ever be sure these days?

mostly, it just creeped me out everytime i walked by...
