CRAAAPPPPPPP part II

one time, a horrible, horrible thing happened to me.

well.  it sort of happened to me again.
but different.

i was in the middle of studying.
studying very hard.
NOT talking to my sister on the internet.
NOT worrying about the fly that is in my candle.
NOT finding good music on my iTunes.
like i said:  studying very hard.

and i went into the bathroom to grab my kleenex.  which is not in its normal place on the weird extra piece of counter at the edge of my kitchen.  the reason for this is that i am out of toilet paper, and i keep forgetting to buy some when i go to the store.

anyways.  mostly irrelevant.

i went into the bathroom and how could i not notice the killer spider in my bathtub?  legs that were over 2 feet long.  hundreds of legs.  fangs all over its body.  even where its toes should of been.  hundreds of scary cat eyes all over its head, everywhere that the fangs were not.

here's the horrible part:
i had to Reach Into the bathtub.
i had to reach in there so i could take the hair catcher thing off my drain.
then.
i had to turn on the water and fill up my cup and hope that the water would wash the monster down the drain.
it didn't.

this is where i started screaming.
i'm sure my neighbours love me.

i had to fill up my cup ten more times, and every time, the monster would claw its way out of the drain and start climbing up the wall of the bathtub.
finally, after my hours of sconstant screaming (or ok, a minute and 7 seconds) started to make it go mad, it forgot which way was up and climbed down the drain along with the water.

i hurried and put the hair catcher thing over the drain so it couldn't climb back up tomorrow or the next day.

and i'm sorry, arbor day (right?) and earth, and all things green, i left the water on for 2 more minutes to make sure the monster was at least 17 miles away from my bathtub.

searches

look at all the searches that have led to my blog lately.  especially notice the second one from the bottom.....  it apparently translates to "bridal".  according to google, that is.  also, it's in greek.

my teeth still hurt.

i think i have scurvy.

way to be a limey, eh?...

i was supposed to have clinicals today.
first i got peer-pressured into wearing a fiberglass mask - not the comfy surgeon masks with the strings.
then i was supposed to not come back after lunch, when we were going to go to the nursing home, so i wouldn't infect the old people.
then at 9 (only an hour in) i got sent home.
so i came to my parents' house, where i have been laying on the floor in front of the fire all morning.

haiku of the day:

i hate being sick.
i'm through 3 pounds of kleenex
and i still can't sleep.

still sick.

this sickness has been very dumb.  the other night i couldn't sleep because my wrists hurt.  then during the next day my elbows hurt.
now my teeth hurt.  they hurt so bad it's making my nose hurt, and my nose hurts so much that i'm pretty sure it's going to start spouting blood any second.
because when things hurt, they bleed...

i am sick.

and something happened.

this is what:

me:  you made meatballs?
dad:  ya...
me:  want me to try them?
dad:  no. you’ll get tularemia.
me: (a little scared)  what’s that?
dad:  lockjaw.
me:  nu uh.  that’s what you get from tendonitis.
dad:  (funny look)  no, that’s what you get from tularemia.
me:  nu uh! from tendonitis!
mom:  (laughing hysterically) tendonitis is in your elbow
me:  oohhhhh!  i mean, the one where metal stabs you!
mom:  tetanus?  (still laughing)
me:  yaaa!  tetanus is lockjaw!!!
dad:  then what’s tularemia?  go look it up.
...................................................................................
Google says (basically):  tularemia = beaver fever.  You get it from ticks, deer flies, domestic rabbits, and beavers.  The end.

new kleenex

the new kleenex popcorn!
for all you popcorn lovers out there with runny noses!

i just bought some kleenex.  usually i buy the pink kind (and i really really really want some pink toilet paper, but i can never find any), and usually i buy the pink kind of kleenex, but walmart didn't have any, and i really really needed some kleenex, so i bought a yellow sunshiney box.
every time i blow my nose, i smell popcorn.... it's getting old fast.

ow.

i found this when i was cleaning my apartment.  which seems to be a perpetual...something in my house.  i keep cleaning and cleaning but nothing ever gets clean.
it's kind of a nightmare.
for some reason i have the urge to write with my blood when i get a paper cut.
don't ask.

haiku of the day:

i hate paper cuts
and i love bedtime stories
grover is my fav

it's a wonder

i know i say this a lot, but it's true.  it really is a wonder that i haven't failed out of school yet.
because this is what i do when i should be studying.

jared and i made them!  we took them to some WNIT basketball games!  and we were famous for about 3 seconds!
one of the basketball games (boys - not girls, so who cares) we even played half time games and i sprained my ankle....
i hate basketball.

haiku of the day:

i want some summer
this snow makes my toes so cold
i got some boat shoes!

bunny standoff

new bunnies vs. toes vs. old bunnies

sorry old bunnies, new bunnies and toes win.

i finally threw them away when i was cleaning to wax my floors.  it was a very sad day.  i had a ceremony for them.
ok not really, but i was sad when i threw them in.  the trash.  the rubbish.  the bin.
the end.

i have been inspired.
haiku of the day:

i was quite sad when.
the trash. the rubbish. the bin.
in went my bunnies.
