this little blog-thing is turning out to be slightly expensive.
when i was in texas, i didn't have a camera, so i took all my pictures on my phone.
and when you send your pictures from your phone to your email, it charges you extra.
so i decided not to do that.
my dad bought a program to put photos from phone straight to computer, so i thought i would try that.
well. it doesn't work unless you have a memory chip. which i don't.
so i have to buy one.
either i pay for emailing my photos to myself, or i pay to get a memory chip to use the software that also just got bought.
rough times at ridgemont high. i know it's supposed to be "fast", but that wouldn't make any sense in this situation. would it.
i'll figure it out sooner or later. possibly later. i only have like 3 more weeks of summer, so i have to use them up.
haiku of the day:
summer is so short
i'm learning how to skateboard
it's fun and scary!

a fiiiire! a fiiiire! a.... parking lot?
happy birthday mommy!!! hope it's filled with lots of sunshine and love and joy (aw) and sushi and presents!!!
morning elegance. my daddy told me about this song many many moons ago, and i still love it.
the big "fire" that i went on is turning out to be a parking lot, or a hotel room, plus maybe one or two hours of "mopping up", which doesn't count as real fire fighting.
boooooorrrrrriiinnnnggggg.
i'm on day five, and i've already done 7 crossword puzzles, read 1 book plus 32 pages of another, drawn 9 pictures, taken 6 naps, and thought about doing sudoku. i guess i'm saving that one (book, that is) for a serious boredom emergency.
anyways. i'm remembering every. single. thing. (almost) that happens, and you will be the first to know.

t.f.c. coming soon (texas fire chronicles).
it might be a few weeks, because my phone has some pictures on it, but i can't put them on here unless i have my very own computer. can't be saving my photos to random hotel computers...
haiku of the day:
most hotels do stink
and not in a smelly way
i like my own bed

the dentist.
sunny road. i first heard this girl when i was on a flight from paris to london.
a few weeks ago, i went to the dentist. in saratoga. i like my dental hygienist there, and i wanted to go see "the flood" anyways.
it was a really gorgeous drive.
for the interstate, that is. the pass was still closed with 90 feet of snow covering it...
haiku of the day:
there is lots of snow
even in july - it's nuts!
and i still hate bugs

how we loved it.
my very favorite band of the year. they are so weird and beautiful.
oh, how we loved getting our pictures taken at school.
it was especially fun because these were once a christmas present to our parents!!!
haiku of the day:
kids are so lovely.
especially when they smile.
like me and my sis!

hair cut
weird, but catchy. the parts of this song feel like they shouldn't go together, but they actually really do...
i really really really really really really want one. like really. for reals.
you can tell how bad i want one by the hair cuts i've found:
haiku of the day:
sister, grow your hair!
faster! faster! move and shake!
come on!! you slow poke!
