responsibility gone bad

once i learned that little bugs live on strawberries that don't come off when you rinse them in water, so you are supposed to wash them in dish soap.

the other week i bought some strawberries.  and some other healthy stuff.  and since i was washing my strawberries, i just figured, why not was Everything??

do you see that rascal cucumber?

well...he was hiding sort of underneath my silverware holder thing in my dish rack.  and i forgot all about it!!

i ended up making some pasta - with my aubergine, aka eggplant.  anyways.  i washed the noodle drainer thing and left it in my dish rack.  then a few days later, or maybe more like a week and a half.  a week and a half later, i moved my noodle drainer so i could fill up my water pitcher because of course my sink was full because of course i hadn't done dishes in ages since the day before.

and my noodle drainer Stuck. to the dish rack.  and so i pulled harder and as soon as it came up, i smelled this Horrible horrible smell.  so i looked, and there was...a Cucumber!

so i went to pick it up and...it was a Liquid Cucumber!

i only grabbed one end, and everything inside Slid to the end!  So. Gross.

needless to say, i threw it away and didn't eat greek salad.

so much for being responsible and washing your veggies.  next time they're going straight into the fridge!

the end.
